Welcome to Toronto - Police surround and attack small group of protesters

Peaceful protesters surrounded and attacked by police at Queen and Spadina during the G20 in Toronto.

This is footage I took on sunday june 27 at G20 in Toronto. My sister and I were participating in a peaceful protest march. Everyone was singing and chanting, but absolutely no violence, and no one wearing bandanas or throwing things. We marched west on queen street, but our progress was blocked at spadina avenue. We didnt realize until it was to late that we we're divided from the main group and surrounded. By then it was to late. The cut I get over my left eye is from the unprovoked jab from a cops riot shield. What you dont see is the beating I got after they dragged me away... the charges we received... Breach of the Peace. Ironic.

Turds of Misery

Turds of Misery played only six shows during their short existence. Based in a small town on the outskirts of Winnipeg, Manitoba, the three-piece act quickly abandoned their first concept — an Alan Parson Project cover band — to focus on original tunes. The band included (from left) bassist Dave, drummer/lead singer Gord, and guitarist Bagpipes McDonald. One of their songs, I Seen You At The Corner Store, received some airplay on the local AM station in 1980. After the band split up, Dave returned to his career as a high school geography teacher, while Gord went to prison for stealing golf balls from the forest. Bagpipes, meanwhile, became the lead guitarist in the current touring version of Foreigner.

Surra de Bunda - "Hot" new dance from Brazil

From Wikipedia
The Surra de Bunda is a dance invented by the São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil group Tequileiras Do Funk which involves a female dancer "beating" her buttocks into a male's face. It gained international attention by mid-2010. The phrase Surra de Bunda in Brazilian Portuguese loosely means "butt beat" or "butt pounding"

The performance is usually accompanied by the song "Surra de Bunda". The lyrics of the song explain that the dancer, a stripper, is going to take revenge on a male audience member (who has drunk too much tequila) for thinking it's easy for her to do her dance, and thus she will beat him with her ass ("bate com a bunda") as revenge. Other songs to which the dance has been performed include "Pode babar" and "Stripper". A "tequileira" is a term used for a barmaid in Brazil who serves tequila.

Keyboard Cathy - Sashimi

This is the much anticipated Sashimi video produced by Poni TV for Keyboard Cathy. Filmed on location at Edo Sushi in and featuring Fahad Javaid, famous for his role on TV30 as The Captain, playing the date.
Pennington, New Jersey

Now that I'm craving sashimi I'm wondering who is this woman..

From her website

Keyboard Cathy: Bio

It’s funny how a single movie can inspire us to pursue our dreams. “Keyboard Cathy” Wiegand wandered into the 2005 film adaptation of Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and walked out not itching to travel through space, but humming “So Long & Thanks for All the Fish,” the whimsical end credits song by Irish singer Neil Hannon—who just so happens to be the frontman of one of her favorite groups, The Divine Comedy.

The versatile singer/songwriter had performed at live benefits for years and had amassed a large catalog of instrumentals in her Roland E-600, but that fish song—and her lifelong love of sushi—led “Keyboard Cathy” to dust off her dreams and record her clever, quirky, sublimely melodic debut indie album Inspiration in 2006. Her irresistible new seven song EP Sushi Lover features “So Long & Thanks For All The Fish” (in case you missed it the first time!), revamped takes of “Eternity” and “Give a Little More,” the brand new “Miracle Worker” (an incisive satire about her former life in the corporate world) and two versions of her trademark “Sushi Lover”—the original and a high spirited, “extra spicy” house remix by the San Antonio band Hyperbubble.

Drill Baby Drill. Spill Baby Spill

It's amazing how Obama is getting the blame for this mess.

We all know Sarah Palin made the phrase Drill, Baby, Drill famous, but here's a bit more history, courtesy of Wikipedia:

"Drill, Baby, Drill!" was a 2008 Republican campaign slogan originally used at the 2008 Republican National Convention by former Maryland Lieutenant Governor, current RNC chairman Michael Steele. The slogan expressed support for increased drilling for petroleum as a source of additional energy.

'80's Training Video - Teaching Cops How Not To Get Knifed

The Fock yooooooo @ :30 is the best.

From youtuber mjphelan It's is a clip from a Calibre Press training video for police titled "Surviving Edged Weapons." While dated, it established the 21-feet rule for police... That is, if a subject is 21-feet or closer to an officer, there is insufficient reaction time to draw and fire two rounds. Any knife closer than 21-feet is automatically a justified, deadly force situation.

‘Gardyn’ by Pogo

A new original song by Pogo who also does those great movie remixes

Comprising my mother's voice and the sounds of her garden, this video is my first Pogo mix of the real world. I hope I've done my mother justice in capturing her passion. Enjoy!
MP3: http://www.pogomix.net/the-story-behi...

From Pogo's site:

Gardyn is a gift to my mother, a track made of sounds that I recorded around her garden. The track also features harmonic syllables of her voice. I shot the video myself over a number of days after a refreshing trip to New York. Gardyn marks the first time I’ve ever mixed the real world, and I hope it won’t be the last.
